What will it hurt?
I walked down the stairs this morning to find Brigg eating the leftover Doritos from his bag he got yesterday at Subway. I said, "Brigg, you know we don't eat Doritos for breakfast!" He said, "Why? What will it hurt?" I said, "I don't know, but we just don't eat Doritos before lunch." Then I proceeded to give him a bag of dry fruit loops and cheerios. I don't know what human being decided that dried, colored sugar is ok for breakfast, but fried potatoes are not, but it's just plain silly! What would it hurt?

Creighton had wheat thins this morning on the way to daycare. And he will probably have pancakes for supper--it's ok, doesn't hurt a thing!
Just another stupid thing we do because somewhere along the way we were told it would make us a good mommy--let him eat the doritos if you ask me. But then again, I'm not sure I would be in "good mom" class so you might want to ask Becky or Pam or something.
Oh my. Yesterday for breakfast I had a Mt. Dew and a donut with TONS of frosting. No, I didnt feed that to the children but I still dont think I am the one to ask!
Sully is really the only one in the house with decent nutrition and that is because he only eats formula!
I think it's totally acceptable. Remember I am the one who feeds her children at the gas station when groceries go low and daddy's out of town and mommy's lazy. :) I don't even want to tell you all the junk they have to choose from at Steamboat Landing...but Doritos is one of them!
Come to think of it...Today after I ate toast and cheerios i felt rather sick to my stomach, but yesterdays breakfast settled just fine.
a mt. dew and a heavily frosted donut souds FABULOUS right now. all i have is a frozen black bean chipolte soy wrap in the freezer here at work....
that's gross, Cassie--should have gotten some of Brigg's Doritos....
