Out in the Cold!

Well, we had a fun weekend. Went to the Go Fish Kids concert, swam at a hotel, bowled, ate and ate and ate....tons of fun! We came home to a VERY cold house. Our furnace seems to be on the fritz. Of course Sunday evening is not the best time to try and get it fixed. So the kids and I are bunking at mom and dad's tonight. Our furnace on the 2nd floor is still working, so Paul decided to stay at home and get a good night's sleep. But it would be somewhat difficult to get the kids up, fed and ready tomorrow with no heat. Hoping that tomorrow brings warmth. Missing my cozy, warm bed and husband tonight....

That bites. I'm sorry about that. I'm glad you had a great week-end. You are always welcome here if you need a warm place....although we can't afford our gas bills so actually it's not that warm.

We woke up to the same thing on Saturday morning! A VERY cold house is no fun with the little ones. We warmed up the bathroom with a space heater, took our showers and headed to grammas too. $400 dollars and several hours later, we had heat....Sympathizing with you!

Unfortunately we had to replace a main motor. Just the part was $400. That's how our luck runs. Never lucky enough to just get the $40 problem, always seems to be the big stuff at our house!!!! Enjoy your heat, we are!! (Makes you appreciate the simple things in life, huh - like staying warm!)
