The latest on the adoption homefront for Jennie and Sean....
They got a call yesterday and their social worker told them the field had been narrowed down either "by and few" or "to a few" (Sean couldn't remember) and they are still in the running. The birthmother was taking home the remaining profiles and looking them over with some family. She had an appointment this morning at 9:00 am Iowa time and Jennie's social worker thought she would have an answer by 1:00 pm. Very exciting stuff! Another added piece of info....
The social worker in Virginia said they just got a new client who had delievered a little boy on Sept 22. She is a college student and the child was the product of a one night stand. The baby is still in the hospital, but should be released in the next day or two. She does not want him to be in foster care for more than a day or two. The social worker said Jennie and Sean's profile was a match for her as well. So if the mother of the twins does not select them, their profile will be shown to the college student ASAP. So they may still be going to VA anyway!
So we are still waiting and praying for news SOON. The wait is agonizing and a rollercoaster for Jennie and Sean. I will update when I get word. Until the, we are just trying to keep busy and stay distracted!

I tried to sleep in as late as possible, but just can't sleep!!! Hopefully we'll hear SOON, so this will all be over. Actually, it probably won't ever be over until we get our baby/babies! If this situation with the twins doesn't pan out, we just have to go on to waiting to hear about the baby boy!
I just keep praying for it to be over!
These Bethany people do have a flair for the dramatic. Can't believe I haven't got a call from Jennie yet!
