Diet
Ok, Paul and I have been on a diet. We started about 6 1/2 weeks ago. I had a goal to lose before Florida and I have 3 pounds to go. So I was feeling pretty good about my progress.
Tonight Brigg says to me, "Mommy, you look like you could almost be pregnant."
I'm going to McDonalds.
Done deal.

I totally laughed out loud at that! That sounds like something my kids would say to me! Hope you enjoyed your McDonalds :)
And by the way--last time I saw you I thought you looked very thin--definately not pregnant.

Ha...he is hilarious! Make sure to tell him that I am not pregnant before he sees me...if he thought you looked like it, he would think I was having septuplets!

ok...couple of things.
first of all, i did not post this blog so everyone could tell me i looked good. my name and skinny, thin, or SLEEK do not belong in the same sentence! (i just don't want it to be in the same sentence as pregnant either!!...especially when i am NOT!) i have resigned to the fact that i will never be 20 again, NOR will i even weigh 110 again! i'm ok with that! i just found it funny that as soon as i started feeling pretty proud, i got knocked off my horse.
and by the way, i know brigg is only 5, but he is the most honest person i have ever known in my life. he cannot tell a lie. i think he lied once and felt bad and told me within 5 minutes he had done it. so my "looking better" is brigg's "looking pregnant". that's ok. really.
I am still laughing at the thought of him saying that. I have been laughing about it for the last day every time I think about it. He is too funny!
So maybe I don't want Bode to start talking?
Very funny Brender!!! :-) Oh Brigg.... he cracks me up.... remember when he told me " you don't look very good Nana!!"? I was in the bathroom, totally NO make-up and did look tough!! You jumped on him and when I got all made up and put together, he exclaimed with his arms extended..."you are pretty Nana!!" Oh my, melted my heart in that instant. He knows how to make ammends!! :-) I agree with your friends Cass, you are looking darn good in spite of my genes!!;-)!!
