Pour #1...Finally!

The green concrete came. They poured it in the frame. They raked it, used a piece of wood for something, used some funky tools to make it smooth and sat and watched it dry. They threw down some charcoal colored powder and put rubber stamps on it, tamped them down with yet another tool. It now looks like stone, but the powder needs to just sit on it for 24-48 hours. We then spray the powder off and the green will come through. It went off without a hitch. Next weekend (if we go by MY schedule) we will finish the outside edges and then put a glaze on it all. I have visions of a patio party in the VERY near future!!
