Since Sunday
So it has been a crazy week. After a great weekend with Paul's side of the family, on Sunday I had to change gears and start preparing for the "Meet Tate" brunch that I was hosting, along with my sister-in-law, at my house on Saturday. I decided on Sunday that I wanted to take down the old, gross window treatment in my living room and dining room and have Paul build cornice boxes for the windows. So our project started. Well, it went pretty smooth and by Monday, we had those done. But it just didn't look right. I decided we needed to paint. So since Sunday we have....
- Built and covered cornice boxes for our living room
- Painted 2 coats of "Journal Cover" paint in the living room
- Mom sewed drapes for the dining room
- Harley got a MUCH needed hair cut...see photos
- Brigg had a halloween program at preschool
- We took the kids trick-or-treating
- I prepared 2 casseroles and 4 loaves of zucchini bread for the brunch
- Washed sheets for the guest that arrived on Friday
- Cleaned my house as much as possible in my spare time
- Went grocery shopping...TWICE
- Fed and entertained 30 women in my house
- Helped give Tate at bath! :)
- Went to church
- Got my hair cut and colored by Jennie
- Had 2 mental breakdowns
It's been a crazy week and I've been struggling to post on blogger tonight. I'm going to bed. More pictures tomorrow....
