Please Pray for Lyn

I just talked with Greg outside this morning. Things are not going well. A couple weeks ago Lyn found out the cancer had spread to her brain. She was very discouraged and her attitude seemed to change. She started radiation directly on the cancer in her brain. She has been going to these treatments everyday for 2.5 weeks. She cries everytime she even tries to describe what it is like. Her hair is falling out in handfuls, she isn't eating, her kidney function is awful and she is dehydrated. She was in the hospital for 2 days and just got home last night. Greg looks terrible and is as negative as I have ever seen him. He said, "It is not looking good, Cassie." So please, please keep her in your prayers. Really pray a sincere prayer for her. She does not want to suffer. The cancer has taken over and it's out of the control of the doctors. She has a tumor on her pelvis that is causing GREAT pain and she can barely walk. She has a tumor on her optic nerve, threatening her vision. It is a horrible scenario for anyone to imagine. Pray for her comfort and peace. That's all I can say. This is not the way she imagined her last years of life playing out. It can happen to any of us. Pretty scary. Thinking of Lyn and the days to come.....
